Second Skin: Utilitarian Wine Label Experiment.
My research into utilitarianism, utilitarian design and utilitarian fashion branding,
paired with my passion for wine led me to investigate what a utilitarian wine label
would look like. I aimed to create a set of wine labels that each offered a different
perspective as to what it could look like.

The final set of labels have been designed with cost of materials, accessibility of
materials, ‘good design’, and functionality, amongst other things, in mind. This forced me to consider different typefaces, layout designs, printing processes, paper stocks
and more. Along side the wine labels, I created a wine-tasting-sheet-inspired
document where the bottles can be interacted with and assessed on how utilitarian
they are. On the flip side, there is information about the wine itself, some literature
that inspired the design and my design process.
